What this site collects

This site does not use advertising trackers, personalized ads, user accounts, or local inquiry storage. Cookie-free Cloudflare Web Analytics measures aggregate use of public pages. Optional Google Analytics measurement is available only after a visitor chooses to allow it. Standard technical request information may be processed temporarily by the hosting provider to deliver and protect the site.

Cookie-free site analytics

Public pages on jjwrightmusic.com, except the hidden /review area, use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure aggregate visits, page views, navigation, referring sites, general browser and device categories, country, page-load timings, and Core Web Vitals. This helps J.J. understand whether the site is being found and whether it works well on real devices.

Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not use cookies or local storage and does not fingerprint people across sites. The beacon does not receive contact-form fields, inquiry messages, or custom outcome events. It runs independently of optional Google Analytics, so declining Google Analytics does not turn off this cookie-free measurement. Cloudflare processes this information subject to the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Optional Google Analytics

If you choose Allow analytics, this site loads Google Analytics 4 to measure page views, general engagement, successful contact submissions, and selected Patreon, Bandcamp, and listening-link clicks. Before you choose, or if you choose Decline analytics, the Google tag does not load and no analytics request is sent.

Analytics may process the page path, referring page, approximate location, browser or device information, and engagement details. A successful contact submission is counted only as an aggregate event, without form fields or other submission details. Selected link clicks use fixed categories for the destination service and placement. This implementation does not send contact-form fields, inquiry messages, destination URLs, link text, URL query strings, a user ID, or data for personalized advertising. Page locations and referrers are reduced to their origin and path before measurement. Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled.

After consent, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies such as _ga. This site also stores your analytics choice in your browser so it can be respected on later visits. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time through Google Analytics choices in the footer. Withdrawing consent disables Google Analytics, removes the Analytics cookies available to this site, and may reload the page to complete the change.

Google processes analytics information subject to the Google Privacy Policy. The property currently retains event-level data for two months and user-level data for fourteen months; aggregated reports may remain after those periods.

Contact inquiries

When the replacement inquiry form is enabled, it asks for your name, email address, inquiry type, and message. Those details are sent to this site’s contact-delivery service, which validates the inquiry and sends it to J.J.’s configured inbox through Resend.

The site’s application code does not write the inquiry to a separate database. Resend processes the message and delivery information needed to send it, subject to its own privacy and retention practices.

Spam protection

When the replacement inquiry form is enabled, it uses a hidden honeypot field, server-side input checks, restricted message sizes, and a server-verified Cloudflare Turnstile challenge to help reduce automated abuse. Cloudflare may process technical browser, network, and verification information needed to distinguish people from automated traffic. No anti-spam system is perfect, so J.J. may review and disregard suspected spam.

Retention and requests

Inquiry records are kept only as long as needed to respond and to maintain an appropriate record of the correspondence; no fixed duration is promised. You may ask about, correct, or request deletion of an inquiry through the contact page.

External services

Project and membership links lead to independent services such as Patreon, Bandcamp, Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube, Acast, and official project sites. Those services have their own privacy practices. If analytics is allowed, this site may count the category of a selected Patreon, Bandcamp, or listening link before navigation; it does not send the destination URL or link text to Google. Following an external link does not send an inquiry to J.J. Wright.
